Members of the Lost State Writers Guild, located in the Tri-State region of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, meet monthly to network and share ideas and information with the goal of furthering their various writing careers. Late in 2007 the Guild compiled and published a second anthology of members' works. Several members of the orginal book committee along with a couple of new ones, began to meet and again solicited submissions from Guild members and divided up judging duties. Member and professional photographer David Ramsey again donated a beautiful photo for the cover, this time taken in Tennessee along the banks of the Nolichuckey River in Unicoi County. And again, few copies from this print run remain. However, since this time the book was self-pubbed with an online publisher, if demand warrants, more copies can easily be printed.
